Wigs 4 Kids Helps Young Cancer Patients Cope With Hair Loss
In 2003 Maggie Varney, a Detroit cosmetologist launched Wigs 4 Kids,a non-profit organization that provides wigs for children and teens who have experienced hair loss from medical conditions or treatments.
Since its launch, nearly 100 Detroit children have received a wig from the Wigs 4 Kids.

By providing custom-fitted, age-appropriate wigs which are individually cut and styled, Wigs 4 Kids helps children feel better about their appearance and look more like their peers.
